Sweet & Spicy Firebomb Muddy Buddies

Whew! It feels like I've spent the whole weekend baking and creating. When I get in these baking modes it's like I just... can't... stop! But I'm about to stop shortly because this bottle of wine is calling my name. I was gung-ho about baking this weekend because I really wanted to create some easy recipes for you to use for Thanksgiving entertaining! Using Dollop Frosting, of course.  ;) You know, to show off to your friends and family the cool new product you found! Brag a little, you early adapter, you!

This recipe I developed is a sweet & spicy spin on that good ol' Muddy Buddy snack mix that we all know and love. Frosting is just so versatile! Melt a little bit of frosting with white chocolate chips and butter, toss with Chex cereal, coat in sugar and spices, and bam! Firebomb Muddy Buddies!

These Firebomb Muddy Buddies are so delicious and surprising - they really enliven your senses. And they're silly easy to make. Beyond silly easy, if I'm being honest with you. A perfect snack pre or post Thanksgiving dinner or during Football Sunday paired with chips & salsa and a bucket o' beer. Mmmmm... spicy. And sweet! <---- That's what your friends & family will be saying after they taste these.

Firebomb Muddy Buddies

Directions

1. In a small microwave safe bowl microwave butter, chocolate chips, and Dollop Frosting at 20 second intervals until fully smooth, stirring intermittently. 2. While the frosting mixture is melting shake the powdered sugar, nutmeg, ginger, and clove in a large Ziploc bag until well blended. 3. Place the Chex cereal in a large bowl and pour the melted frosting mixture over top, stirring until well coated. Scoop the Chex mixture into the Ziploc bag and shake to coat. Remove from bag into a bowl or tupperware and toss with your mix-ins.
